Welcome to the PostDart Help Center. This guide covers everything you need to get started and make the most of PostDart's features. For hands-on help, log in to the app and use the AI Assistant — it can answer any question about PostDart instantly.

Getting Started

PostDart is a social media management platform that lets you publish, schedule, and analyze content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok from a single dashboard. Here's how to get started in 3 steps:

1. Create your account — Sign up with email or Google at app.postdart.com. It's free to start with 3 social accounts and 30 posts per month.

2. Connect your social accounts — Go to the Connect page and link your Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, YouTube channels, and TikTok profiles. PostDart uses secure OAuth — we never see your passwords.

3. Create your first post — Head to the Post page, write your content, add media, select your platforms, and hit Publish or Schedule.

Connecting Social Accounts

Navigate to the Connect page from the sidebar. Click Connect on the platform card you want to add. You'll be redirected to that platform's authorization page. Grant the required permissions and you'll be connected.

  • You can connect multiple accounts per platform
  • Instagram requires a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page
  • Tokens expire periodically — click Reconnect if a connection stops working
  • You'll see a warning banner when tokens are about to expire
  • Creating & Publishing Posts

    The Post page is your content creation hub. Write your text, add hashtags, upload images or videos, and select which platforms to publish to.

    Publishing options:

  • Publish Now — Posts immediately to all selected platforms
  • Schedule — Pick a future date and time. PostDart publishes automatically.
  • Save Draft — Save your work and come back to it later
  • Pro tips:

  • Use platform overrides to customize captions per platform
  • For YouTube, upload a custom thumbnail or use the video frame picker
  • The AI Content Writer can generate titles, descriptions, and hashtags from your images
  • Managing Drafts & Scheduled Posts

    The Drafts page has three tabs: Drafts (unpublished work), Scheduled (queued for publishing), and Published (already posted). You can edit, reschedule, or delete posts from any tab. Multi-select lets you bulk delete.

    Unified Inbox — Messages

    All your Facebook and Instagram DMs appear in one inbox. Click a conversation to read messages and reply without switching apps. Messages sync every 2 minutes.

    Comments

    Comments from all connected platforms sync every 3 minutes. View, reply to, and manage comments from the Comments page. Keep your community engaged without opening multiple apps.

    Leaderboard & Analytics

    The Leaderboard shows your top-performing posts ranked by engagement. Filter by platform, date range, and metric type. Interactive charts show trends over time. Export reports as PDF for stakeholders.

    AI Studio — 6 AI-Powered Tools

    PostDart includes 6 AI tools powered by Groq:

  • AI Content Writer — Generate titles, descriptions, and hashtags from images or text. Vision-powered — upload a photo and get ready-to-post captions.
  • Smart Schedule — Analyzes your last 30 days of engagement and suggests the 5 best posting times per platform.
  • Content Calendar — Generate 3-30 day content plans. Choose topics, tone, and target platforms.
  • Auto Reply — Paste a comment and get 3 reply suggestions in different tones — friendly, professional, and casual.
  • Image Prompt Generator — Describe your image and get DALL-E/Midjourney-ready prompts. This generates text prompts, not images.
  • AI Chat Assistant — Ask anything about PostDart or social media strategy. Available on the Help and AI Studio pages.
  • Bulk Import via CSV

    Upload a CSV file with columns for title, description, tags, scheduled_time, media_url, and platforms. PostDart parses and creates all posts at once. AI can auto-fill missing fields.

    Hashtag Analytics

    Track which hashtags drive the most engagement. See usage frequency, average engagement per hashtag, and trending tags in your niche.

    Pricing & Plans

    PostDart offers Free, Pro, Business, and Lifetime plans. Free includes 3 accounts and 30 posts/month. Pro adds scheduling, AI Studio, and analytics. Business adds team collaboration and unlimited accounts. View current pricing at the Pricing page.

    Team Collaboration

    Business plan users can invite team members with 6 roles: Admin, Approver, Creator, Scheduler, Analyst, and Community Manager. Each role has specific permissions for publishing, approving, analytics, and moderation.

    Account & Security

    From the Profile page you can update your name, avatar, and bio. Change your password or set one if you signed up with Google. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) with any TOTP app like Google Authenticator or Authy.

    Notifications

    The notification bell in the top bar shows unread alerts for: successful post publications, failed posts, new comments, new messages, expiring tokens, and system announcements.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How do I connect my social accounts? Go to Connect page → click the platform → authorize via OAuth.

    Can I schedule posts for multiple platforms at once? Yes. Select multiple platforms in the Publish To card and set your schedule.

    What happens if a scheduled post fails? You'll get a notification. Check the Drafts page — failed posts appear with a 'Failed' badge. Common fix: reconnect the account.

    Is my data secure? Yes. OAuth tokens are encrypted with Fernet at rest. We never store social media passwords. 2FA is available for account security.

    How does Bulk Import work? Upload a CSV with the required columns. PostDart validates and creates posts. AI can fill in missing titles or descriptions.

    Do I get notified when scheduled posts publish? Yes. You'll see a notification for every successful or failed publish.
